1. Purpose & Applicability
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines the mandatory rules governing access to the Prismera Edu platform, APIs, and mobile applications operated by Azed Labs LTD (RC 9432305).
This policy applies to all subscribing educational institutions, school proprietors, directors, teachers, staff, parents, and students.
2. Prohibited Technical Activities
Users shall not, under any circumstances:
- Cross-Tenant Traversal: Attempt to query, read, or tamper with the database schema, student dossiers, or files of any other school tenant.
- Vulnerability Probing: Scan, probe, or audit the vulnerability of Prismera systems or attempt to circumvent authentication or rate limiting without prior written authorization.
- Malicious Code: Upload, inject, or transmit viruses, ransomware, Trojan horses, or SQL injection payloads into the platform.
- Scraping & Reverse Engineering: Decompile, reverse engineer, or scrape algorithmic timetable logic, AI orchestration code, or student databases.
- Credential Sharing: Share administrative login credentials or session tokens with unauthorized third parties.
3. Educational Content & Ethical Standards
Users shall not upload, store, or transmit content that:
- Child Exploitation: Contains or promotes child abuse material or harm to minors (subject to immediate reporting to law enforcement and the National Cybersecurity Policy Centre).
- Academic Fraud: Falsifies, forges, or fraudulently modifies student continuous assessment marks, examination scores, or official report cards.
- Deceptive Billing: Dispatches fraudulent tuition invoices or misleading bank account details to parents.
- Spam: Uses the SMS or portal communication system to broadcast unsolicited commercial advertisements or political messaging.
- Copyright Infringement: Uploads copyrighted textbooks or past papers without appropriate educational licenses or authorization.
4. Enforcement & Reporting
Violations of this AUP constitute a material breach of our Terms of Service and may result in immediate account suspension, tenant termination, or statutory referral to the Nigeria Police Force Cybercrime Unit or Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) under the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Amendment Act 2024.
